Lone Mountain Animal Hospital Pet of the Month: April 2006 |

From "Geoffrey"....
"My name is Geoffrey. I am a 12-year old Pomeranian. I love getting
into the trash. I am very and my gums were red and swollen. Dr. White did some tests, and the results were malignant. Surgery had to be done immediately. The very next day, I had my surgery by a specialist who removed almost my entire lower jaw. I only have a few teeth remaining, but I still eat and drink very well. Dr. White and her staff took very good care of me after my surgery. Mommy visited twice a day. Finally, after a long, long, time, I got to go home, with a feeding tube and a lamp shade around my neck. Mommy took time off from work to take care of me. She said it was therapy. She taught me how to work my tongue so I could learn to eat and drink. It’s been almost 2 ˝ years since surgery and I am still in remission." Geoffrey has been voted "Pet of the Month" for April 2006
