Harry is a Harlequin Macaw which is a cross between blue, gold and green winged Macaws.
He arrived at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital the day of the fire at Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary.
He was a survivor of the fire, however he was one of the birds closest to the fire and
arrived at our hospital with serious respiratory problems. In addition his mate was lost
in the fire. With medical treatment and a lot of TLC from our staff Harry began dancing for
all who visited. With great joy he returned home to Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary 12 days
after the fire and doing wonderfully.

"Harry" has been voted "Pet of the Month" for April by the doctors
and staff of Lone Mountain Animal Hospital.  Congratulations, "Harry!"
