From Sophie's human parents:

My husband and I went to Lied Animal Shelter in June 2006 looking for a pup to complete
our little family. We first saw Sophie in the third kennel and she immediately "picked" us.
The name on her ID card was "Unknown," but we knew her name had to be Sophie!
She didn't bark, just furiously wagged her tail. It was love at first sight! Sophie had been
at the kennel for over two months and was "blue dotted," meaning she was scheduled
to be put down. We took her home and she has been our light ever since. She loves to
play with "Froggie," her stuff frog and will run to fetch it until our arms are numb.
She's one of the sweetest creatures we've ever known.

We all love the staff at LMAH. Every one of them is caring and gentle.
Sophie also loves the treats there!

"Sophie" has been voted "Pet of the Month" for October 2008 by the doctors
and staff of Lone Mountain Animal Hospital.  Congratulations Sophie!
