My name is Pierre. I am named after Pierre Renoir the famous painter. Being an
11 year old American Eskimo, I am considered elderly, but even with very limited vision,
I am still capable of getting around the house and yard with little to no problems. I still
bark at the birds and lie in the grass when I am outside. Tennis balls are my favorite toy,
but those stuffed animals with the squeaky things in them are a close second. Personally,
I like to rip out the stuffing and find those annoying squeaky things. As you can guess, I don't
get many of those toys - mom hates the mess!! I have to admit that I am a bit spoiled and
do allow others to spoon feed me when I am not in the mood to eat, which I appreciate greatly.

When I am at the Lone Mountain Animal Hospital, I feel that I am the center of attention
and get lots of loving from the staff. They all know my name and pet me - which makes
my stay in the kennel very pleasant. Thank you for caring for me like one of your own pets.

"Pierre" has been voted "Pet of the Month" for October by the doctors
